About Ya Boi

3DCG animator and rigging artist that's heavily inspired by anime storytelling and animation. I tend to gravitate towards stories that are deeply personal but at the same time something anyone can relate too. I love animating at a variable frame rate and am a believer in the concept of "drawing in 3D" i.e. considering the final "picture" the audience will see and bending/breaking the rig to create the most appealing images. If you wouldn't draw it that way, the pose probably needs to be reworked!Aside from making and watching animation, I LOVE music and going to concerts. I like pretty much everything, but my favorite genres tend to be indie/math rock. My favorite album right now is "Home, Like No Place Is There" by the hotelier!
